KETTLE® Chips Chance to Win a gourmet trip to France every Week and one (1) of 224 £150 Virgin Experience Days e-vouchers every Day (the "Promotion")
1. Promotion start date
1.1. The Promotion will start at 00.00 on 28 April 2025.
2. Promotion closing date
2.1 The Promotion will close at 23.59 on 22 June 2025.
3. How to participate in the Promotion
3.1. To enter the Promotion each entrant (an "Entrant" and collectively "Entrants") must:
3.1.1. purchase one of the following promotional bags of KETTLE® Chips from a participating retailer either in-store or online while stocks last:
- KETTLE® Chips 130g Lightly Salted;
- KETTLE® Chips 130g Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar of Modena;
- KETTLE® Chips 130g Mature Cheddar & Red Onion;
- KETTLE® Chips 130g Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream;
- KETTLE® Chips 130g Sea Salt & Crushed Black Peppercorns;
- KETTLE® Chips 40g Lightly Salted;
- KETTLE® Chips 40g Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar of Modena;
- KETTLE® Chips 40g Mature Cheddar & Red Onion;
- KETTLE® Chips 40g Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream;
- KETTLE® Chips 40g Sea Salt & Crushed Black Peppercorns
(each a "Promotion Product" and together the "Promotion Products")
and between 00:00 and 23:59 inclusive on each day ("Day") during the Promotion period specified in clauses 1.1 and 2.1 (the "Promotion Period") that an Entrant wishes to enter the Promotion, they must:
3.1.2 visit the Promotion website located at www.winwithkettle.co.uk (the "Promotion Website") by typing the Promotion Website URL into the Entrant's web browser or scan the QR code printed on the back of pack of the Promotion Products;
3.1.3 correctly input the last four (4) digits of the Promotion Product barcode printed on the back of pack of the Promotion Products;
3.1.4 input their full name, a valid email address and a mobile telephone number and they will automactically receive one (1) entry into the draw for:
- that Day's Daily Prize e-voucher (as defined in clause 4.8); and
- that week's Main Prize (as defined in clause 4.1). A week will start at 00:00 each Monday and will end at 23:59 each Sunday ("Week"). Please note, whilst Entrants can enter the Promotion every Day during the Promotion Period, they will only be entered into the draw for a chance to win a Main Prize once per Week.
3.2. Please note that entries do not roll from one Day to the next Day, therefore the actions set out in clause 3.1 must be repeated for each Day that an Entrant wishes to enter the Promotion.
3.3. To claim either a Main Prize and/or a Daily Prize e-voucher, proof of purchase will be required. Therefore, an Entrant should retain their Promotion Product packaging and receipt for the Promotion Product showing the date of purchase of the Promotion Product during the Promotion Period which must be dated prior to the date of entry into the Promotion.
3.4. In the event that the email address provided by an Entrant is incorrect or incomplete or becomes inaccessible during the Promotion, the Promoter (as defined in clause 8.1) reserves the right to invalidate the entry.
3.5. There is no free-entry route for the Promotion.
3.6. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and on Main Prize and/or Daily Prize e-voucher acceptance. The Promoter shall not be held responsible or liable for a Main Prize and/or a Daily Prize e-voucher winner failing to supply accurate information which affects their acceptance and/or receipt of either a Main Prize and/or Daily Prize e-voucher.
3.7. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incorrect, incomplete, altered or illegible entries. Junk filters and/or IT difficulties may affect email delivery or receipt or participation in this Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for this. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any Entrant for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent an Entrant's entry into the Promotion. Proof of submission or sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt.
3.8. Please note that whilst the Promoter wants to encourage Entrants to participate in and enjoy the benefits of the Promotion, the Promoter believes in responsible consumption of its products. No person should purchase more Promotion Products than they can reasonably and responsibly consume just to participate in the Promotion.
3.9. If an Entrant encounters a technical problem with the Promotion Website when entering the Promotion, in the first instance, please see the FAQ's located at: www.winwithkettle.co.uk/faqs/. If an Entrant is unable to find help in the FAQ's, they should contact the Promoter via www.winwithkettle.co.uk.
4. Promotional Prizes
Main Prizes (defined below in this clause 4.1)
4.1. Subject to clause 6 below, a Main Prize is a gourmet trip to France choosing from one of five (5) locations throughout France: Lyon, Dijon, Paris, Nice or Bordeaux for two (2) people which, subject to availability and travel at the time of booking, will include:
- return ecenomy class flights (including taxes and two pieces of hand luggage per person consisting of 1 x cabin bag and 1 x under seat bag (the dimensions of both the cabin bag and under seat bag will vary according to the airline selected and will be confirmed to each winner at the time of booking) from the Main Prize winner's nearest connecting airport in the United Kingdom (this may not be the Main Prize winner's nearest departure or return airport) to either Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, or Nice (if Dijon is chosen by the winner as their destination, they will fly to Lyon & onward transport via taxi to Dijon will be arranged) excluding the 2025 Christmas holiday period being 19 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (inclusive), 2026 Easter weekend being 3 April to 6 April 2026 (inclusive) and all other all Public Holidays and Bank Holiday weekends in England these being: 22 August 2025 to 25 August 2025, 1 May 2026 to 4 May 2026, 22 May 2026 to 25 May 2026 & 28 August 2026 to 31 August 2026 (all dates stated are inclusive);
- return airport transfers in France (from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport);
- three (3) nights, four (4) star hotel accommodation based on sharing a double room and bed and breakfast only. A twin room may be requested but cannot be guaranteed by the Promoter. Each winner will be provided with details of no less than two (2) hotels to choose from located in their chosen destination;
- a gourmet experience (the specific experience/s will depend on the location chosen by each Main Prize winner, all times stated for each gourmet experience set out below are approximate) as follows:
- Lyon - a three (3) hour private cooking class with a professional chef making French pastries and a three hour thirty minute (3.5) walking tour of secret food locations in Lyon;
- Dijon - a seven hour 30 minute (7.5) tour of Dijon on an e-bike including a gourmet lunch at a local restaurant and a either a lunch or an evening set tasting menu at the Michelin-star restrurant, L'Aspérule Dijon (the Main Prize Winner can select either lunch or dinner);
- Paris - a two hour thirty minute (2.5) food and wine tasting walking tour of Paris and an evening meal at Madame Brasserie Restaurant which is loacted near to the Eiffel Tower;
- Bordeaux - a three (3) hour private class with a professional chef baking French pastries and a three (3) hour food and wine tour of Bordeaux; and
- Nice - a two (2) course evening meal at a French vineyard with local French wine tasting and/or non-alcoholic beverages included.
(each a "Main Prize" and collectively the "Main Prizes").
4.2. There are eight (8) Main Prizes available to win.
4.3. Each Main Prize winner's guest must be aged over eighteen (18).
4.4. Each Main Prize must be booked and the trip completed by each Main Prize winner before 22 December 2026.
4.5. If all elements or any element of a Main Prize are unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute all elements or the relevant element of such Main Prize with a similar prize of equal or greater value.
4.6. Each Main Prize winner and their guest shall be responsible for having a permanent and valid passport and must be able to comply with any other immigration requirements, tourist taxes, vaccinations, compliance with local laws at the point of destination, all health, safety & travel requirements and any related expenses not expressly covered in these Promotion T&Cs.
4.7. Each Main Prize package must be taken as a whole, flights and hotels cannot be redeemed separately. Each Main Prize winner and their guest must travel together on the same flight to the chosen destination and stay in the same hotel.
Daily Prize e-vouchers (defined below in this clause 4.8)
4.8. Subject to clause 6 below, a Daily Prize e-voucher is one (1) x one hundred and fifty pound (£150) Virgin Experience Days e-voucher. There are four (4) Daily Prize e-vouchers available to be won per Day and two hundred and twenty-four (224) Daily Prize e-vouchers available to be won in total across the Promotion Period (each a "Daily Prize e-voucher" and collectively the "Daily Prize e-vouchers").
4.9. Daily winers must visit www.virginexperiencedays.co.uk to redeem their Daily Prize e-voucher towards the cost of their chosen Virgin Experience Day/s. Daily Prize e-vouchers can be used multiple times up to their total value. If the Daily Prize e-voucher does not cover the total cost of the chosen Virgin Experience Day, any balance payable is the Daily Winner's responsibility and not that of the Promoter. Instructions on how to book will be provided on www.virginexperiencedays.co.uk once an experience has been selected by a Daily Prize e-voucher winner. Each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will be subject to Virgin Experience Days terms & conditions and any additional terms and conditions applicable to their chosen Virgin Experience Day.
4.10. In accordance with and subject to the Virgin Experience Days Terms & Conditions, Daily Prize e-voucher winners must redeem the full value of their Daily Prize e-voucher by 20 April 2026. After this date, the Daily Prize e-vouchers will be void and any balance thereon will be lost. Daily Prize e-vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount codes or promotional offers.
If all elements or any element of the Daily Prize e-voucher is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute all elements or the relevant element of the Daily Prize e-voucher with a similar prize of equal or greater value.
5. Promotion entry restrictions
5.1. Internet access and mobile telephone number required to enter.
5.2. To enter the Promotion, an Entrant must be aged eighteen (18) or over. The Main Prize winners will also be asked to provide ID for age-verification purposes for their prize to be fulfilled (see clause 6.4).
5.3. Subject to clause 5.6, the Promotion will be open to United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents only.
5.4. A maxmimum of one (1) entry per Entrant per Day into the Promotion is permitted (the functionality of the Promotion Website will allow the Promoter to control this) during the Promotion Period. Any Entrant who attempts to circumvent this clause 5.4 by using alternative details will be disqualified from participation in the Promotion.
5.5. Maximum of one (1) Promotion prize per person except Main Prize Winners may also win one (1) Daily Prize e-voucher.
5.6. Employees of the Promoter, its agents, affiliated companies, anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion and their families cannot enter the Promotion.
5.7. The Promoter will not substitute a cash alternative or any other alternative (in whole or in part) for either the Main Prizes or the Daily Prize e-vouchers. No element of the either the Main Prizes or the Daily Prize e-vouchers are for resale by or refundable to the Main Prize or Daily Prize e-voucher winners or otherwise transferrable by such winners to a third party.
5.8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries into the Promotion and refuse to award any of the Main Prizes or Daily Prize e-vouchers or withdraw any of the Main Prizes or Daily Prize e-vouchers and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the Entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Promotion T&Cs or any instructions forming part of this Promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where an entrant has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won the Prize using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decision and it will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into with the relevant Entrant. Any ban issued may be carried forward to future Promotions.
5.9. An Entrant who enters the Promotion on behalf of another person will be disqualified from participating in the Promotion.
5.10. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of “script,” brute force or any other automated means, that person's entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
6. Promotion prize draws
Main Prizes
6.1. There will be one (1) Main Prize allocated to each Week of the Promotion Period drawn at random within twenty-four (24) hours of the end of each Week.
6.2. Each Main Prize winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during each Week of the Promotion Period using a secure independently verified computer program (randomiser algorithm).
6.3. Each Main Prize winner will be contacted within three (3) working days after the expiry of each Week set out in clause 6.1 that corresponds with their winning entry. Each Main winner will be sent an email to the email address supplied by them on entry into the Promotion from www.winwithkettle.co.uk.notifying them that they have won a Main Prize.
6.4. Upon notifying each Main Prize winner that they have won a Main Prize, the Promoter will request the relevant winner's county of residence for compliance reasons (see clauses 6.15. and 6.16). Each Main Prize winner will also be asked to send in the form of a photograph, their Promotion Product and a proof of purchase of the Promotion Product referred to in clause 3.3 above. All of these elements are a requirement for the validation and fulfilment of the prize.
6.5. Each Main Prize winner will have fourteen (14) days from the date of the notification email sent to them under clause 6.3, to respond indicating whether they wish to claim the Main Prize & provide the details requested in clause 6.4. If no response is received from the relevant Main Prize winner by day seven (7) and day ten (10) of that fourteen (14) day period, further emails will be sent to the Prize winner asking them if they wish to claim the Main Prize. If the relevant Main Prize winner does not respond within the fourteen (14) day period or does not supply the required information stated in clause 6.4, without any further communication to the relevant Main Prize winner, the relevant Main Prize will be deemed to be forfeited. The relevant Main Prize draw will be re-run in accordance with clause 6.2 for another Promotion Entrant who entered the Promotion during relevant Week to win. This process will be repeated twice, at which point the relevant unawarded Main Prize will be declared null and void.
6.6. Once each Main Prize winner has provided the information requested under and in accordance with clauses 6.4 and 6.5 and it has been verified by the Promoter, each Main Prize winner's contact details (full name and email address etc provided upon entry into the Promotion) will be passed onto the Main Prize provider, Cloud 9 Incentives Ltd whose address is Market House, Silver Street, Olney, MK46 4AL ("Cloud Nine") for fulfilment who will contact each Main Prize winner within seven (7) working days of the date of verification of each Main Prize winner by the Promoter under this clause 6.6 and will request the relevant winner's proof of identity (for example, a copy of their driver's licence or passport etc.) for age-verification purposes as well as other related questions to allow fulfilment of the prize.
6.7. Each Main Prize winner must provide Cloud Nine with all additional details required to fulfil the Main Prize including but not limited to the following: (i) destination choosing from the five (5) destinations set out in clause 4.1 & (ii) subject to the date exclusions set out in clause 4.1 (bullet point 1), their preferred dates of travel which must not be less than six (6) weeks from the date of their email to Cloud Nine setting out their details and preferences in accordance with this clause 6.7.
6.8. Once a Main Prize has been booked by Cloud Nine, it may not be possible to amend such booking. If an amendment to any element of the booking is possible, an administration fee may be payable and if so, such administration fee shall be the responsibility of the relevant Main Prize winner and not that of the Promoter or Cloud Nine.
Daily Prize e-vouchers
6.9. There will be five (5) Daily Prize e-voucher winners for each Day of the Promotion Period drawn at random within twenty-four (24) hours of the end of each Day.
6.10. Each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during each Day of the Promotion Period using a secure independently verified computer program (randomiser algorithm).
6.11. Each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will be contacted within seven (7) working days of the end of each Day set out in clause 6.9 that corresponds with their winning entry. Each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will be sent an email to the email address supplied by them on entry into the Promotion from www.winwithkettle.co.uk notifying them that they have won a Daily Prize e-voucher.
6.12. Each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will be asked to send in the form of a photograph, the Promotion Product and proof of purchase of the Promotion Product referred to in clause 3.3 above as well as their county of residence for compliance reasons (see clauses 6.15. and 6.16). All of these elements are a requirement for the validation and fulfilment of each Daily Prize e-voucher.
6.13. Each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will have fourteen (14) days from the date of the notification email sent to them under clause 6.11, to provide the details requested in clause 6.12. If no response is received from the relevant Daily Prize e-voucher winner by day seven (7) and day ten (10) of that fourteen (14) day period, further emails will be sent to the Daily Prize e-voucher winner asking them to provide the details required in accordance with clause 6.12. If the relevant Daily Prize e-voucher winner does not respond within the fourteen (14) day period or does not supply the required information stated in clause 6.12, without any further communication to the relevant Daily Prize e-voucher winner, their prize will be deemed to be forfeited. The relevant Day Prize e-voucher draw will be re-run in accordance with clause 6.10 for another Promotion Entrant who entered the Promotion during relevant Day to win. This process will be repeated twice, at which point the relevant unawarded Daily Prize e-voucher will be declared null and void.
6.14. Within twenty-eight (28) days of each Daily Prize e-voucher winner providing the information requested under and in accordance with clauses 6.12 and 6.13 and it has been verified by the Promoter, each Daily Prize e-voucher winner will be will be sent their Daily Prize e-voucher to the email address supplied by them on entry to the Promotion from www.winwithkettle.co.uk. Please note Virgin Experience Days may request each Daily Prize winner's proof of identity (for example, a copy of their driver's licence or passport etc.).
Further terms applicable to all Promotion prize draws
6.15. Subject to clause 6.16, the Promoter will make available the Main Prize winners surnames and counties or residence to members of the public who request the winners list from the Promoter within three (3) months of the Promotion closing date set out in clause 2.1. by sending an email to: Privacy.Mailbox@valeofoods.co.uk.
6.16. Each Main Prize winner will have the right to object to the publication of their surname under clause 6.15 by contacting the Promoter at anytime. In such circumstances, only the county of the winners will be available on request by sending an email to: Privacy.Mailbox@valeofoods.co.uk.. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter will remain obliged to provide the Prize winner's full name and county to the Advertising Standards Agency (the "ASA"), if requested by the ASA.
6.17. Each Entrant who has entered the Promotion should monitor their email account including junk and spam folders throughout the Promotion Period and for at least three (3) weeks after the Promotion closing date set out in clause 2.1.
6.18. Each Entrant who does not win a prize will not be notified that they have not won the Prize.
7. Promoter's limitation on liability
7.1. The Promoter shall have no liability for:
7.1.1. expenses and costs not included in the Main Prize including, but not limited to, travel to and from United Kingdom airport, additional luggage in excess of the luggage included in the Main Prize referred to in clause 4.1, travel insurance for each Main Prize winner and their guest, additional food and drink, additional trips or other activities etc. Any additional expenses and costs shall be the responsibility of the Main Prize winner and their guest;
7.1.2. neither the Promoter nor Coud Nine shall be liable for any element of the Main Prize being (i) unavailable or (ii) withdrawn or amended due to circumstances beyond their responsible control;
7.1.3. neither the Promoter nor Cloud Nine shall be liable for any acts or omissions of the Main Prize winner and their guest set out in clause 4.6;
7.1.4. all additional costs and expenses in taking up a Virgin Experience Day purchased with the assistance of a Daily Prize e-voucher including but not limited to travel, meals, drinks, accommodation and insurance (if required) shall be each daily winner's own responsibility;
7.1.5. neither the Promoter nor Virgin Experience Days shall be liable for any element of the Daily Prize e-voucher being (i) unavailable or (ii) withdrawn or amended due to circumstances beyond their responsible control.
7.2. Other than for liability for loss, death or personal injury occurring from the negligence of the Promoter, so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter hereby excludes all liability for loss, damage, costs and expenses whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with the Promotion, the fulfilment of the Main Prize and Daily Prize e-vouchers and/or the use of such prizes.
8. Promotion Promoter
8.1. The Promotion promoter is Kettle Foods Ltd trading as Valeo Foods UK (company number 2238320), 38 Barnard Road, Bowthorpe, Norwich, United Kingdom, NR5 9JP (the "Promoter").
9. Privacy
9.1. All personal data relating to an Entrant will be used solely for the administration of the Promotion and for no other purpose in accordance with the UK data protection legislation including, but not limited to, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Promoter's privacy policy (see below), and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than to Cloud Nine whose privacy notice can be found here: https://www.uponcloudnine.co.uk/privacy.html; and THINK Incorporated Limited (company number 04923692) whose registered office address is 25 Dunster Close, Kings Norton, Birmingham, West Midlands, B30 3RY whose privacy notice can be found here: https://thinkincorporated.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/think-inc-privacy-policy.pdf, and the Promoter's Agent, Zeal Creative Limited (company number 08949923) whose registered office address is 70 Market Street, Tottington, Bury, BL8 3LJ who is assisting with the administration of the Promotion) without the Entrant's prior consent. An Entrant can request access to the Entrant's personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by writing to KETTLE® Chips Chance to Win a Gourmet Trip to France, Kettle Foods Ltd, 38 Barnard Road, Bowthorpe, Norwich, Norfolk NR5 9JP or send an email to: Privacy.Mailbox@valeofoods.co.uk. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in these Promotion T&Cs.
10. Publicity
10.1. The Main Prize winners and Daily Prize e-voucher winners may be asked by the Promoter to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the Promotion, which may include consenting to their images being taken and being used in publicity or promotional materials. The Main Prize winners and Daily Prize e-voucher winners will be asked to sign a form consenting to such use of their images but will be free to refuse giving their consent.
11. Force majeure
11.1. In the event of any circumstances outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of Prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and/or these Promotion T&Cs, at any stage, but will always use all reasonable endeavours to minimalize the effect in order to avoid undue disappointment to Entrants.
11.2. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Promotion T&Cs (including, but not limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, global or regional health crises, famine, plague, government guidance or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always use all reasonable endeavours to minimalize the effect in order to avoid undue disappointment to Entrants.
12. Promotion terms and conditions
12.1. By entering the Promotion, an Entrant is deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Promotion T&Cs and to have consented to the transfer of the Entrant's personal data to the Promoter for the administration of the Promotion and for any other purposes to which the Entrant has consented.
12.2. During the Promotion Period, the Entrant will continue to be able to access these Promotion T&Cs at www.winwithkettle.co.uk. The Entrant should retain a copy of these Promotion T&Cs for the Entrant's reference.
12.3. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion T&Cs and any other communications regarding the Promotion, including but not limited to advertising or promotional materials, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail.
12.4. If any clause in these Promotion T&Cs should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Promotion T&Cs and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
12.5. These Promotion T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of the relevant country in which an Entrant resides in, and an Entrant submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of such country.
